Budget With SmartPay

CMP customers can select from two options when they enroll in a monthly budget payment plan:

SmartPay+ – Our SmartPay+ program is designed to offer you a capped price along with the option to pay your heating bill by making 12 easy monthly payments. We estimate your yearly fuel consumption based on past purchases, add in a cap premium and divide that number by 12.

SmartPay – Another option to help you budget your energy bills throughout the year is to consider CMP’s SmartPay Budget program. With SmartPay Budget, we estimate your yearly fuel consumption based on past purchases, and divide that number by 12 to arrive at your monthly payment. You will be enrolled in our automatic delivery schedule and pay $.10 lower than the daily posted price. Although you won’t be protected if prices rise, there’s no cap premium to enroll.
